Manchester Fighters Academy | Deansgate
Based within the Fighting Fit Martial Art Centre, MFA is a well equipped modern gym offering evening weekday training sessions to people of all experience levels. They have raised boxing rings and lots of modern training equipment. The gym attracts a wide range of people from novices and casual trainers, to professional fighters. Head coach John Chipchase has trained some very high level fighters over the years and the overall standard of sessions is very good.

Master A Muay Thai | Northern Quarter
Founded by Thai Master Somapat Sitiwatjana and based in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, Master A’s gym offers Muay Thai training sessions all week and weekend to all age and ability levels. A small but well equipped gym with a decent standard of training.

Cobra of Siam | Piccadilly/Northern Quarter
Cobra of Siam is a modestly sized gym in Salford – it’s not flashy but is has everything you need to train Muay Thai, including padded flooring, RDX punch bags, floor ring and sparring and pad work equipment. They offer Thai boxing classes for a range of abilities and ages for both men and women across the week and weekend.

SBG Manchester Gym | Manchester Piccadilly
SBG is a MMA gym which offers limited Kickboxing sessions among it’s BJJ and MMA classes. It’s not the best gym in Manchester for Muay Thai but its well equipped and easy to reach.

Great Kings Fight Club | Moston, North Manchester
Based just outside of the city, Great Kings Fight Club offer a decent level of Muay Thai training to adults and juniors, welcoming all levels of experience. They run sessions throughout the week for both the casual trainer and those who want to compete in inter-clubs and beyond. It’s reasonably well equipped with all the basic gear you need

All Powers Gym | Stockport
Although All Powers Gym is technically outside of Manchester in Stockport, it’s worth a mention because it’s a very well equipped gym with a high standard of training. It’s actually an MMA gym but they run a huge range of Muay Thai classes all week long for a range of levels.

Phoenix Muay Thai | Bury
Another gym based outside of Manchester is Phoenix Muay Thai in Bury. It’s a relatively small Muay Thai gym, but they have great coaches and welcome people of all abilities, offering grading and private sessions.
